Taken on one of my solo hikes along the phone line trail up Sabino Canyon - just to the
south and west of downtown Tucson, AZ. The Ocatillo are a majestic plant, tall, skinny and sharp that blooms every April in bright
orangish-red flowers. Here we catch them in their green coats along the trail looking down to the canyon below.
