Taking the road to the top of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre on a cold, snowy late
winter 2010 afternoon, this tree stood guard at the tunnel just before reaching the upper parking lot. You can see the top of one of the rock
walls that enclose the amphitheatre in the lower left corner. It made for a striking scene - one that was even better in black and white.
