Mt. Bierstadt is one of the easier 14ers to hike but that along with its close
proximity to Denver makes this a very crowded trek. Get a very early start here if you want to park near the trailhead. I like to be on
the trail by or before 6am. This image was taken about 3/4 of the way up the mountain.
As you look in the distance, you can see where treeline is on the other mountains. This usually runs about 11,500 ft. As you climb Mt. Bierstadt
be sure to stop and enjoy the journey. The views are great.
