June 5th, 2010 was a great day to take a trip to any of the national parks in Colorado - the admission was
free for the weekend. Yeah! My friend Sequoia and I got an early start on this bright and windy day. The drive to the summit of Mt Evans is truly a
magnificent journey and one you need to make sure the driver is paying attention to the task at hand and not gazing around.
Their wonderful vistas at every turn - and there are many of them - and along the narrow roads with steep drop-offs. And just when you
don't expect it, out pops a plump marmot or a family of mountain goats that look at you wondering what you are doing in their home. This is truly an
experience everyone should experience at least once in their lives. ,br>
