Mt Bierstadt Summit View
14ers
      mt. bierstadt summit view
Mt. Bierstadt is one of the easier 14ers to hike but that along with its close proximity to Denver makes this a very crowded trek. Get a very early start here if you want to park near the trailhead. I like to be on the trail by or before 6am. This image was taken about 3/4 of the way up the mountain.

Looking down from the summit, you can see the road you came up from Georgetown. Look carefully, you can see the vehicles parked at the trailhead. Likely a lot more than when you started. You can also see the twin 14ers, Grays Peak and Torreys Peak off in the distance - just to the left of center.
