      moraine valley stream
After entering Rocky Mountain National Park at the Beaver Meadows entrance, the first left is Bear Lake Road - which leads to one of the most scenic areas of the park. Bear Lake Road descends into the wide open valley of Moraine Park. There are several trailheads here, a very large park campground and one of the best locations in the park for elk viewing.

As we were running our Golder Retriever near the tree in the distance, my partner thot there was something moving in the bushes on the other side of the stream. I grabbed the camera and went to find it - whatever it was. I didn't find anything but upon walking along the stream, the above vista just opened up to me. Sometimes shots just happen.
