While visiting Florida in late summer, we had a day to relax on the beach. The sun, the waves, the
breeze and the warm air felt so wonderful. After a swim in the ocean, upon returning to our blankets, we saw this sand crab, sometimes called ghost crabs (ocypode quadrata),
darting in and out of his hole. Any movment of our hands or feet, and back into his hole he scampered. It felt like he was playing with us.
