An early spring day 2010, having left Boulder driving south along Hwy 93 which runs along the front range
of the Rockies, I stopped near the crest of an long incline to look into the valley and Eldorado Canyon. It is a Colorado State Park just south of Boulder.
The park has two main areas, the Inner Canyon (developed) and the Crescent Meadows (undeveloped). Eldorado is home to one of the world's most accessible and
comprehensive rock climbing areas. In fact, there are over 500 technical rock climbing routes. Additionally, there are 11 miles of
picturesque trails for hiking and/or biking by those not into the technical climbs.
